Teaching Truck to Truck transfer Traveling Welcome to the site of Pro Freestyle Skateboarder AJ Kohn.
Although best known for his world class Freestyle Skateboarding skill, AJ is also an accomplished all around skateboarder who is always pushing what is possible on his skateboard!
The unique movements of his skating sets allows him to stand out from the rest and because of this is he is very popular for demonstrations to which he has performed in over 500 throughout the years from the small shop demo to full size arena tours all over the nation and different parts of the world! Needless to say the sponsors who have worked with AJ over the years always get the representation and exposure they are looking for in a top performing Professional.
AJ is also very involved in his local community as he runs an after school skateboard program called Gear for GROMS as well as lobbies / designs features for satellite skate parks in the city of Philadelphia with Franklin's Paine Organization.
In addition to all of this he earned a degree in Industrial Design in 04' and has been a Product Designer and Design Consultant for various companies throughout the years at the same time he was the touring MC and an organizer of events for tours such as the now defunct "Beast of the East" / "GROM Series" and "The Jam Skate and Create Series" etc. 2010 he is helping organize the WC of Freestyle Skateboarding in Philadelphia this September.
